In 2012, ALI committed to a P60 Billion investment for a 6-year period to develop Makati. Now, with the additional investment, Ayala Land Inc. plans to create new products that present more options and opportunities for Makati denizens, while continuously enhancing what the city has to offer at present.
“There will always be a place to eat, to work, to live, to relax—all within a short walk. This is what we aim to achieve with the six nodes,” said Meean Dy.
Makati has since been enhanced further with new components that live up to the city’s promise as a convergence for living, working, and leisure.

The Ayala Center is a bustling network of malls and department stores, hotels, entertainment spaces, museums, and pocket parks in Makati. With popular boutiques, dining spots, and hangouts within walking distance from the Makati Central Business District and nearby residential areas, Ayala Center is a happening lifestyle hub in the heart of Metro Manila.
The urban oasis of the city, Ayala Triangle Gardens, has always been expected to deliver the best developments by the Principals of ALI. 20 years after the rise of Tower One and Exchange Plaza, ALI will embark on another project that will shape the Makati skyline. The next development in Ayala Triangle Gardens will happen at the tip of the triangle that will include an 80,000 sq meters of highest grade office space and 275-room brand new 5-star Mandarin Hotel.
Moving towards where Ayala Avenue meets Buendia, there is another gateway to the CBD. Dubbed as the young and creative hub of the city, City Gate is a new mixed-use development envisioned to have a more creative edge. To cater to the younger set that frequents this area, phase one will be 81,000 sq. meters of office GFA, 312-hotel room Seda, and 14,000 sq. meters of retail GFA. But more than these is the Civic Space that will be placed in the area. It will be a 2,600 sq. meter space which will be accomplished vertically through a series of terraces.
Under the support of ALI, what used to be the old Sta. Ana race track is now a flourishing mixed-use district featuring entertainment and sports facilities. It is the entertainment hub of the city that sits on a 22-hectare property with interim facilities such as the Globe Circuit Events Ground where Wanderland and Close Up Forever Summer took place, Gatorade-Chelsea Blue Pitch, Mountain Dew Skate Park, and City Kart Racing.
