How time flies fast, Makatizens! In just a matter of a few blinks, we’ve reached the second half of the year already.
June has arrived in the City That Makes It All Happen, and what better way to celebrate its coming than by a street party this weekend.
That’s right, Makatizens! On June 3, 2018, Sunday, Paseo de Roxas will be closed down for another celebration filled with good food, awesome music, amazing arts & crafts and some good ol’ neighbourly love! Make It Makati, together with Ayala Land, Inc., brings you Makati Street Meet: Eats & Beats.
This Sunday, make a beeline towards Paseo de Roxas and experience a summer day like no other from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Food trucks and other merchants will be standing by to serve you smoked meats, rainbow-coloured lemonade, homemade ice-cream, you name it.
If you’re one who loves a great set of acoustic jams, then you’ve come to the right place as we’ve got quite the line-up for you. Sit back, relax, and tap your head to tunes from Kai Atienza, CJ Oliveros, Jegs Benedict and One Click Straight.
To the rockers out there, if you’re inkling for a dose of alternative rock this Sunday, don’t miss One Click Straight’s set at 8:00 PM.
Now, if you’re more of the quiet type who prefers a mind-calming session of arts and craft, there will be paper-craft workshops conducted by none other than Papelikhaan. Don’t forget: Registration starts at 4:30PM and it’s first come, first served!
See you all at the #MakatiStreetMeet this Sunday, folks! Fun times ahead!
And yes, you heard that right! Admission is free. And your fur-babies are most welcome.
